Setup
Live in nine steps
Open the Airbyte platform and navigate to the "Sources" tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
Click on the "Add Source" button and select "Mailchimp" from the list of available connectors.
Enter a name for your Mailchimp source connector and click on the "Next" button.
Enter your Mailchimp API key in the provided field. You can find your API key by logging into your Mailchimp account and navigating to the "Account" section. From there, click on "Extras" and then "API keys".
Select the Mailchimp lists you want to sync with Airbyte by checking the boxes next to their names.
Choose the sync mode you want to use for your Mailchimp data. You can choose between "Full Refresh" and "Incremental".
Click on the "Test" button to ensure that your Mailchimp source connector is working properly.
If the test is successful, click on the "Create" button to save your Mailchimp source connector.
You can now use your Mailchimp source connector to sync your Mailchimp data with other destinations on the Airbyte platform.

Do I need more than one Mailchimp connection?
No. One Mailchimp authorization powers both the scheduled syncs that land data in your destination and the entity actions your agents call at runtime.
Do Mailchimp entity actions need a sync to run first?
No. Entity actions read and write through the Mailchimp API as they are called, so they work immediately. Context store search is the exception: it queries data Airbyte has already synced, which is what lets it filter and sort without spending API rate limits.
