Setup
Live in nine steps
Open the Notion source connector page on Airbyte.com.
Click on the "Add a new source" button.
Select "Notion" from the list of available sources.
Enter a name for the source connector.
Click on the "Create source" button.
In the "Connection Configuration" section, enter the following credentials: - Integration Token: This can be obtained from the Notion API page. Follow the instructions on the page to create a new integration and obtain the token. - Database ID: This is the ID of the database you want to connect to. You can find this by opening the database in Notion and copying the ID from the URL.
Click on the "Check connection" button to test the connection.
If the connection is successful, click on the "Save" button to save the source connector.
You can now use the source connector to extract data from your Notion database.

| num_workers | integer | Number of worker threads to use for the sync. Higher values can speed up large syncs but may increase rate-limit pressure against Notion's limit of approximately three requests per second per integration. |
| start_date | string | UTC date and time in the format YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS.000Z. During incremental sync, any data generated before this date will not be replicated. If left blank, the start date will be set to 2 years before the present date. |

Do I need more than one Notion connection?
No. One Notion authorization powers both the scheduled syncs that land data in your destination and the entity actions your agents call at runtime.
Do Notion entity actions need a sync to run first?
No. Entity actions read and write through the Notion API as they are called, so they work immediately. Context store search is the exception: it queries data Airbyte has already synced, which is what lets it filter and sort without spending API rate limits.
