How do I authenticate with Stripe?

The Stripe connector supports two authentication methods: Open source mode, where you provide a Stripe API key directly (starting with sktest or sklive); and Hosted mode, where credentials are stored securely in Airbyte Cloud and you authenticate using your Airbyte client ID, client secret, customer name, and optional organization ID.

Can I use this connector with any AI agent framework?

The connector is compatible with any Python-based AI agent framework including LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Pydantic AI, and custom implementations.

Does this connector support write operations?

The Stripe connector primarily focuses on read operations for analytics and insights. Write operations such as creating new customer profiles, updating billing information, deleting customer records, sending payment reminders, or scheduling automatic invoices are currently unsupported.
