“Airbyte helped us accelerate our progress by years, compared to our competitors. We don’t need to worry about connectors and focus on creating value for our users instead of building infrastructure. That’s priceless. The time and energy saved allows us to disrupt and grow faster.”

"With Airbyte, we could just push a few buttons, allow API access, and bring all the data into Google BigQuery. By blending all the different marketing data sources, we can gain valuable insights."
How to Sync to Manually
First, familiarize yourself with the Fullstory API documentation. Use the API to extract the data you need. This involves making HTTP requests to the Fullstory API endpoints to obtain data such as session replays, events, or user data. Make sure to authenticate your requests using the appropriate API key or token.
Create a script (using Python, Node.js, or another language) to automate data extraction from Fullstory. The script should send requests to the Fullstory API and handle responses. Parse the JSON or CSV data returned by the API into a structured format suitable for further processing.
Prepare the extracted data for loading into Redshift. This involves cleaning and transforming the data to match the schema of your Redshift tables. You may need to convert data types, rename fields, and handle any missing or inconsistent data.
Ensure your Redshift cluster is set up and running. Configure the necessary tables and schemas in Redshift to accommodate the data you will be loading. Define the appropriate data types and structures to optimize storage and query performance.
Before loading data into Redshift, upload the transformed data files to an Amazon S3 bucket. This step involves using AWS CLI or SDKs to transfer CSV or JSON files from your local system to S3. Ensure that the S3 bucket permissions allow Redshift to access the data.
Use the Redshift `COPY` command to load data from the S3 bucket into your Redshift tables. The `COPY` command efficiently imports large datasets and can handle various file formats. Specify the S3 path, IAM role or credentials, and file format (CSV, JSON, etc.) in the command.
After loading the data, execute SQL queries to verify and validate that the data in Redshift matches the expectations and source data from Fullstory. Check for any discrepancies or errors in the loaded data and adjust your extraction or transformation process if necessary.
By following these steps, you can manually migrate data from Fullstory to Amazon Redshift without relying on third-party connectors or integrations.
