For practitioners looking for fully managed software, basic functionality and prefer to be billed based on data volume. Starting at $10 / month

For practitioners and small teams looking for fully managed software, core functionality, accelerated support, and prefer to be billed on an annual basis.

For organizations that need scalability, governance, and security while simplifying pipeline management.
You shouldn't pay more just because your data volume spikes
Airbyte prices on compute capacity, not data moved (Pro Plan). Scale your pipelines without scaling your bill
A better pricing model
The Pro plan uses capacity-based pricing built on Data Workers, the dedicated compute units that power your pipelines.
You scale by adding capacity, not by worrying about volume spikes. Costs stay predictable as your workloads grow.
A note on volume-based pricing
For smaller teams with predictable data volumes, pay-per-use still makes sense. That's what Standard and Plus are for.
Pick the model that fits: fixed capacity on Pro, or volume-based on Standard and Plus.
Why we price by Agent Operations
Search
Pulls relevant context from across every system you've connected. Your agent asks a question, the Context Store answers with everything that matters from sales, support, product, marketing, wherever.
Read
A direct lookup against a live system. For when your agent needs the current state of one specific record, not a search across the whole business.
Act
Writes back to a system of record. Updating a CRM field, creating a ticket, posting a message, anything that changes state somewhere.
Reason
Your agent thinking through what it just pulled. Deciding the next move, planning a multi-step path, picking which tool to call.
Each step uses some number of AOs. Reading is the cheapest. Reasoning is the most expensive. Searching and Acting sit in between. This way you pay for the work that gets done.

Builders love Airbyte

With our legacy framework, if one of the pipelines fails for one client, it will stop everything for the rest of our clients. But with Airbyte, things are run in parallel because of the platform’s distributed nature, which means that we can process multiple clients at the same time without impacting performance.

The real ROI is in our ability to iterate quickly, especially at our increasing scale. At the end of the day, you want a tool like that to just work. We can forget about it and know that it's configured and it's connecting and it's working. That hands-free capability is a big appeal for the platform.

Unlike Fivetran's credit-based system that created budget uncertainty, Airbyte's pricing model allows Kuda to forecast expenses accurately and avoid surprise bills.

With Airbyte, our AI features have fresh, reliable data to work with. Whether we're running automated financial models or powering AI agents that answer questions about a brand's business, none of it works without trustworthy data flowing in, and that's what Airbyte gives us.

With the quick and easy Airbyte setup process and with a few answers from the Airbyte community in Slack, Intellum was able to launch the new platform quickly and efficiently within two weeks. Airbyte worked out-of-the-box, and there was no long setup protocol like other tools.

What plans does Airbyte offer, and how do they differ?

What is capacity-based pricing (Data Workers)?
Airbyte’s Pro plan is priced by Data Workers, a unit of capacity that powers your pipelines. There are multiple variables that we use to determine the cost of a Data Worker.
Each Data Worker can run multiple syncs concurrently; typically ~3 at once.
This model gives you predictable spend, guaranteed performance, and no charges based on data volume.
How is capacity-based pricing different from usage or volume-based?
Usage or volume-based pricing bills you by rows, GBs, or events. Costs grow as data grows and we know that not all data is equally valuable.
Airbyte uses capacity-based pricing, so you can control spend up-front, avoid surprise bills and can scale only when needed, so your data can grow without inflating your bill.
What is the Plus plan?
Plus is our annual plan for teams looking for Standard functionality but would like to be billed on a predictable, annual basis. Plus also comes with Accelerated Support, which means your tickets are prioritized. The Plus Plan also includes bulk-credit discounts that can be discussed with our team.
How much does Airbyte Plus cost?
Pricing is based on the number of credits needed. Volume discounts are available through the sales team and offer substantial savings.
What is the Pro plan?
Pro includes everything in Standard/Plus, plus faster syncs, premium support, and enhanced platform features like RBAC, row filtering, hashing & encryption, and support multiple data regions. It’s built for production workloads that require reliability, control, and guaranteed performance.
What do you recommend for a small team of 3-4 developers?
We typically recommend starting with Plus (fully managed) if you want zero infrastructure overhead and predictable annual billing. Either way, you can always move to more robust pricing plans like Pro as you scale and your needs change.

What happens when I run out of AOs?
On the Free Plan, when you hit the monthly usage limits, capacity is paused until the next month. On the Individual and Team Plans, overage kicks in at the rate shown in the pricing matrix above. On the Custom Plan, overages are noted in your contract.
Do idle connectors or workspaces cost me anything?
No. We only meter Agent Operations (AOs).
How do tokens relate to AOs?
Reasoning AOs scale with the complexity of the task, so a heavier multi-step workflow costs more than a simple summarization.
Can I start Free and upgrade later?
Yes. Everything you build on the Free Plan moves with you.
What counts as "embedded" for the Custom plan?
If you're putting Airbyte Agents inside your own product for your customers, you're embedded. Since we meter on your customers' agent activity, you'll need to work with our team for pricing. We'll work with you to design a Custom Plan that fits your need.
