What our users say

Raman Singh
Predictable, straightforward pricing model that simplified budgeting and significantly reduced overall spend

Chase Zieman

“Airbyte helped us accelerate our progress by years, compared to our competitors. We don’t need to worry about connectors and focus on creating value for our users instead of building infrastructure. That’s priceless. The time and energy saved allows us to disrupt and grow faster.”

Rupak Patel
"With Airbyte, we could just push a few buttons, allow API access, and bring all the data into Google BigQuery. By blending all the different marketing data sources, we can gain valuable insights."
How to Sync to Manually
Step 1: Identify Data Requirements
Begin by determining which datasets from Kyriba need to be transferred to Firebolt. Clearly define the data scope, including tables, fields, and any filters or criteria needed for the data extraction. This will help in exporting the correct data and structuring it appropriately for Firebolt.
Step 2: Export Data from Kyriba
Use Kyriba's built-in reporting and export features to extract the required datasets. Access the Kyriba dashboard, navigate to the relevant module, and create reports that encompass your data requirements. Export these reports in a compatible format, such as CSV or Excel, which can be easily manipulated and imported into Firebolt.
Step 3: Prepare Data for Firebolt
Once exported, clean and transform the data to match Firebolt's schema and format requirements. This might involve reformatting dates, normalizing strings, or restructuring tables. Use tools like Excel or Python scripts to automate and streamline the data transformation process.
Step 4: Set Up Firebolt Database
Ensure that your Firebolt environment is ready to receive new data. This involves creating the necessary tables and schemas that match the transformed data structure. Use Firebolt’s SQL commands to define schemas that align with the data you plan to import.
Step 5: Load Data into Firebolt
Use Firebolt’s native data loading tools to import the prepared data files. Access the Firebolt console, navigate to the data loading section, and upload your CSV or TSV files. Use SQL COPY commands or the Firebolt UI to map the data files to the corresponding tables.
Step 6: Verify Data Integrity
After importing, verify that the data has been accurately transferred. Run SQL queries in Firebolt to check row counts, data types, and sample records against the original datasets from Kyriba. This step ensures that the data maintains integrity and accuracy after the transfer.
Step 7: Optimize and Maintain Data in Firebolt
Finally, optimize the loaded data for performance. Create necessary indexes and partitions to enhance query performance in Firebolt. Regularly monitor data loads and query performance to ensure the system remains efficient and scalable. Maintain documentation of your data migration process for future reference and compliance purposes.
