How to load data from Mailjet Mail to Weaviate

Learn how to use Airbyte to synchronize your Mailjet Mail data into Weaviate within minutes.

Building your pipeline or Using Airbyte

Airbyte is the only open source solution empowering data teams  to meet all their growing custom business demands in the new AI era.

Building in-house pipelines
Bespoke pipelines are:
  • Inconsistent and inaccurate data
  • Laborious and expensive
  • Brittle and inflexible
Furthermore, you will need to build and maintain Y x Z pipelines with Y sources and Z destinations to cover all your needs.
After Airbyte
Airbyte connections are:
  • Reliable and accurate
  • Extensible and scalable for all your needs
  • Deployed and governed your way
All your pipelines in minutes, however custom they are, thanks to Airbyte’s connector marketplace and AI Connector Builder.

Start syncing with Airbyte in 3 easy steps within 10 minutes

Set up a Mailjet Mail connector in Airbyte

Connect to or one of 400+ pre-built or 10,000+ custom connectors through simple account authentication.

Set up Weaviate for your extracted Mailjet Mail data

Select where you want to import data from your source to. You can also choose other cloud data warehouses, databases, data lakes, vector databases, or any other supported Airbyte destinations.

Configure the Mailjet Mail to Weaviate in Airbyte

This includes selecting the data you want to extract - streams and columns -, the sync frequency, where in the destination you want that data to be loaded.

How to Sync to Manually

Step 1: Export Data from Mailjet

Begin by logging into your Mailjet account. Navigate to the section where your emails or contacts are stored. Use Mailjet's export functionality to download the data you need. This is typically available in CSV or Excel format. Ensure that the export includes all relevant fields necessary for your use case.

Open the exported file using a spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Review the data to ensure it is complete and clean. Remove any unnecessary columns and ensure that the data is well-structured. This step is crucial as it prepares the data for transformation and import into Weaviate.

Weaviate requires data in a specific JSON format, so you need to transform your CSV data into JSON. You can do this by writing a script in Python or using any tool that supports CSV to JSON conversion. Ensure the JSON structure aligns with Weaviate's schema requirements, including the appropriate class names and property types.

Access your Weaviate instance. Before importing data, you need to define the schema that matches the structure of your JSON data. Use Weaviate's schema API to create classes and properties that align with your data. This step ensures that your data can be imported without issues.

Obtain the API key or authentication token required to interact with your Weaviate instance. This usually involves creating or accessing an API key within your Weaviate dashboard. Ensure you have the necessary permissions to perform data import operations.

Write a script in a programming language like Python to automate the data import process. Use Weaviate's REST API to send HTTP POST requests with your JSON data to the appropriate endpoint. Make sure to handle any potential errors or responses to confirm successful data import.

After the import process is complete, verify that all the data has been correctly imported into Weaviate. Use Weaviate's search or query functionalities to check a sample of the data. Ensure that all fields are properly mapped and that there is no data loss or corruption.

By following these steps, you can successfully move data from Mailjet Mail to Weaviate without relying on third-party connectors or integrations.
