What our users say

Raman Singh
Predictable, straightforward pricing model that simplified budgeting and significantly reduced overall spend

Chase Zieman

“Airbyte helped us accelerate our progress by years, compared to our competitors. We don’t need to worry about connectors and focus on creating value for our users instead of building infrastructure. That’s priceless. The time and energy saved allows us to disrupt and grow faster.”

Rupak Patel
"With Airbyte, we could just push a few buttons, allow API access, and bring all the data into Google BigQuery. By blending all the different marketing data sources, we can gain valuable insights."
How to Sync to Manually
Step 1: Extract Data from Recruitee
Begin by accessing Recruitee's API to extract the necessary data. You will need to authenticate using your API key, which you can find in the Recruitee admin settings. Use HTTP GET requests to fetch data from the relevant endpoints. You can use Python with the `requests` library to automate this process.
Step 2: Transform Data to CSV or JSON
Once you've fetched the data, transform it into a CSV or JSON format. This step is crucial for ensuring compatibility with AWS services. Use Python's `pandas` library to convert the data into a DataFrame and then export it to CSV using `DataFrame.to_csv()` or to JSON using `DataFrame.to_json()`.
Step 3: Configure AWS S3 Bucket
Set up an AWS S3 bucket to store the data. Go to the AWS Management Console, create a new S3 bucket, and configure the necessary permissions. Ensure the bucket policy allows for data upload and access from your environment.
Step 4: Upload Data to S3
Use the AWS SDK for Python (Boto3) to programmatically upload your CSV or JSON files to the S3 bucket. Install Boto3 and use the `upload_file` method to transfer the data. Make sure you have configured your AWS credentials locally to allow Boto3 to authenticate.
Step 5: Set Up AWS Glue Crawler
In the AWS Management Console, create a new Glue Crawler to catalog the data stored in your S3 bucket. Define the data source as the S3 bucket and specify the IAM role that Glue can assume to access it. Run the crawler to populate the AWS Glue Data Catalog with table definitions.
Step 6: Create AWS Glue Job
After the data is cataloged, create an AWS Glue Job to process or transform this data further if needed. Choose the appropriate ETL script, define job properties, and select the IAM role for execution. You can script transformations using PySpark or Scala as per your requirements.
Step 7: Execute and Monitor the Glue Job
Finally, execute the Glue Job and monitor its progress through the AWS Management Console. Check the logs and output files to ensure the data has been moved and processed correctly. You may also use AWS CloudWatch for detailed logging and monitoring to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
By following these steps, you will be able to move data from Recruitee to AWS S3 and further process it using AWS Glue without relying on third-party connectors.
