How to load data from Recruitee to Snowflake destination

Learn how to use Airbyte to synchronize your Recruitee data into Snowflake destination within minutes.

Building your pipeline or Using Airbyte

Airbyte is the only open source solution empowering data teams  to meet all their growing custom business demands in the new AI era.

Building in-house pipelines

Bespoke pipelines are:
  • Inconsistent and inaccurate data
  • Laborious and expensive
  • Brittle and inflexible
Furthermore, you will need to build and maintain Y x Z pipelines with Y sources and Z destinations to cover all your needs.

After Airbyte

Airbyte connections are:
  • Reliable and accurate
  • Extensible and scalable for all your needs
  • Deployed and governed your way
All your pipelines in minutes, however custom they are, thanks to Airbyte’s connector marketplace and AI Connector Builder.

Start syncing with Airbyte in 3 easy steps within 10 minutes

Set up a Recruitee connector in Airbyte

Connect to or one of 400+ pre-built or 10,000+ custom connectors through simple account authentication.

Set up Snowflake destination for your extracted Recruitee data

Select where you want to import data from your source to. You can also choose other cloud data warehouses, databases, data lakes, vector databases, or any other supported Airbyte destinations.

Configure the Recruitee to Snowflake destination in Airbyte

This includes selecting the data you want to extract - streams and columns -, the sync frequency, where in the destination you want that data to be loaded.

How to Sync to Manually

Step 1: Export Data from Recruitee

Start by logging into your Recruitee account. Navigate to the area where your data resides, such as candidate information or job listings. Use Recruitee's built-in export features to download the data as a CSV file, which is a common format for data transfer.

Step 2: Prepare the Data for Snowflake

Open the exported CSV file in a spreadsheet application or a text editor. Review the data to ensure it is clean and organized. Remove any unnecessary columns and ensure that the data types (e.g., dates, numbers) are consistent. Save the cleaned file, maintaining the CSV format.

Step 3: Set Up a Snowflake Account and Warehouse

If you haven't already, create a Snowflake account. Once logged in, set up a data warehouse. Navigate to the "Warehouses" section and create a new warehouse, specifying the size and region according to your needs. This warehouse will be used to load and query your data.

Step 4: Create a Target Table in Snowflake

In Snowflake, navigate to the "Databases" section and create a new database if necessary. Then, create a schema within this database. Use SQL commands to define a new table structure that matches the structure of your CSV file. Ensure the column names and data types in Snowflake match those in your CSV file.

Step 5: Upload the CSV File to a Snowflake Stage

Use Snowflake's web interface or the SnowSQL command-line tool to upload your CSV file to a Snowflake stage. A stage is a temporary storage area in Snowflake. If using the web interface, navigate to the "Data" section, select your database, and find the option to upload files to a stage.

Step 6: Copy Data from Stage to Table

Once your CSV file is uploaded to the stage, execute a `COPY INTO` SQL command to transfer data from the stage to your target table in Snowflake. This command reads the data from the CSV file and inserts it into the table you created. Verify that the data types and structure align correctly to avoid errors.

Step 7: Verify Data Integrity and Clean Up

After loading the data into Snowflake, perform a few queries on the table to verify that the data was transferred correctly. Check for any discrepancies or errors. Once verified, you can delete the file from the Snowflake stage to avoid unnecessary storage use. Regularly monitor and maintain the data to ensure it remains accurate and up-to-date.

By following these steps, you can successfully move data from Recruitee to the Snowflake Data Cloud without relying on third-party connectors or integrations.
