Chase Zieman

“Airbyte helped us accelerate our progress by years, compared to our competitors. We don’t need to worry about connectors and focus on creating value for our users instead of building infrastructure. That’s priceless. The time and energy saved allows us to disrupt and grow faster.”

Rupak Patel
"With Airbyte, we could just push a few buttons, allow API access, and bring all the data into Google BigQuery. By blending all the different marketing data sources, we can gain valuable insights."
How to Sync to Manually
Step 1: Access Yandex.Metrica Data
Start by logging into your Yandex.Metrica account. Navigate to the reports section where you can access the data you need. Determine the specific metrics and dimensions you want to transfer to Convex. It’s essential to have a clear understanding of the data structure and format to ensure compatibility with Convex.
Step 2: Export Data from Yandex.Metrica
Use Yandex.Metrica's built-in export feature to download the data. Typically, you can export data in formats such as CSV or TSV. Ensure you select the correct date range and data parameters before exporting. Save the exported file to a secure location on your computer.
Step 3: Prepare the Data for Transformation
Open the exported file and review the data. Clean up any unnecessary columns or rows that won’t be needed in Convex. Ensure consistency in data formats, such as date fields and numerical values, to prevent errors during data ingestion in Convex.
Step 4: Transform Data to Meet Convex Requirements
Understand the data import requirements for Convex. You may need to adjust your data file to match Convex's expected schema. This could involve renaming headers, changing data types, or reformatting dates. Use a spreadsheet tool like Excel or Google Sheets for these transformations.
Step 5: Set Up Convex Data Import
Log into your Convex account and navigate to the section where you can import data. Review the data import guidelines provided by Convex to ensure compatibility. Determine the method for data import, such as using an API or a file upload feature.
Step 6: Upload Data to Convex
If Convex allows direct file uploads, proceed to upload your transformed data file. Follow any on-screen prompts to map the data fields from your file to the corresponding fields in Convex. If an API is required, write a script in a language like Python to send the data to Convex's API endpoint.
Step 7: Verify Data Integrity in Convex
Once the data transfer is complete, verify the data integrity in Convex. Check for any discrepancies or errors in the imported data. Ensure that all metrics and dimensions are accurately represented. If issues are found, adjust the data and repeat the upload process as necessary.
By following these steps, you can successfully transfer data from Yandex.Metrica to Convex without relying on third-party connectors or integrations.
