Chase Zieman

“Airbyte helped us accelerate our progress by years, compared to our competitors. We don’t need to worry about connectors and focus on creating value for our users instead of building infrastructure. That’s priceless. The time and energy saved allows us to disrupt and grow faster.”

Rupak Patel
"With Airbyte, we could just push a few buttons, allow API access, and bring all the data into Google BigQuery. By blending all the different marketing data sources, we can gain valuable insights."
How to Sync to Manually
Step 1: Identify Source Data in Zapier-Supported Storage
Determine the specific data and files you need to transfer. Make sure to have access to the storage platform, such as Google Sheets, Dropbox, or another supported storage solution, and identify the files or datasets you want to move to Firebolt.
Step 2: Export Data from Storage
Export your data from the Zapier-supported storage platform. For example, if using Google Sheets, you can download the spreadsheet as a CSV file. Make sure to maintain the integrity of the data file format for compatibility with Firebolt.
Step 3: Prepare Data for Transfer
Clean and format your exported data to ensure it aligns with Firebolt's data requirements. This may include data cleansing, reformatting date fields, or ensuring consistency in data types. Perform these tasks using data preparation tools or manually in a spreadsheet application.
Step 4: Set Up Firebolt Environment
Log into your Firebolt account and configure the necessary database environment. Create a new database and table schema that aligns with the structure of your data. Define the column names and data types to match your prepared data file.
Step 5: Transfer Data to Local Environment
Move the prepared data file to your local environment if it is not already there. This step ensures that the data is ready for upload to Firebolt from your local machine.
Step 6: Upload Data to Firebolt
Use Firebolt's web interface or command-line tools to upload your prepared data file. Firebolt supports bulk data loading via SQL commands, so you can use `COPY INTO` statements to load data from your local environment into the newly created Firebolt table.
Step 7: Verify Data Integrity and Completeness
Once the data upload is complete, run queries in Firebolt to verify that the data has been transferred correctly and completely. Check for any discrepancies or missing data, and ensure that the data types and values are consistent with the original source data.
By following these steps, you can effectively move data from a Zapier-supported storage to Firebolt without relying on third-party connectors or integrations.
