Agentic Upgrades to Zoho CRM and Reddit Ads, and New App Store Connect Integration

Traditionally, batch sync connectors have served the majority of data movement needs. But with the increasing consumption of data by agents as opposed to humans, we’ve focused on adding new capabilities to our most popular connectors.These capabilities are specifically designed for agentic use cases.

The Airbyte Zoho CRM and Reddit Ads connectors now give agents two ways to read. Real-time fetch calls the source API directly and returns the current state of a record. Batch sync data not only goes to your warehouse, but can also be synced into the Context Store on top. Indexing within the Context Store keeps a searchable copy of the entities you select, so an agent can run filters the API doesn't support.

These are the same Zoho CRM and Reddit Ads connectors that already sync to your warehouse. However, the new capabilities make it easier for agents on top of your warehouse to act in real-time. Zoho CRM also features an alpha semantic search capability. This means you can search for an entity or record without a relevant keyword. It operates purely on meaning.

We also added App Store Connect to the catalog. It's batch sync only, and it covers App Store sales, finance, analytics, and review data, including reports Apple only keeps for about a year. Here’s a summary of the new updates:

Zoho CRM

Many of you are familiar with this connector. We’re really excited about the new changes that we’ve added so you can not only gain insights from the data, but also feed your agentic workflows.

Agents can list and fetch records across 12 Zoho CRM modules: leads, contacts, accounts, deals, campaigns, tasks, events, calls, products, quotes, invoices, and notes. All 12 are indexed in the Context Store, so an agent can sort deals by amount, find overdue tasks, or pull every contact at one company without paging through the API.

Ten of the 12 modules also support semantic search (alpha release). The connector embeds each record's descriptive text, such as a lead's name, title, company, and description, or a call's subject, agenda, description, and result. That lets an agent search call records for pricing objections even when nobody typed the word "pricing."

The connector supports Zoho's regional data centers: US, EU, AU, IN, CN, and JP. On the batch side, it discovers standard modules, custom modules, and custom fields when you set it up, and recent releases added data-center-aware OAuth and automatic detection of your Zoho CRM edition.

Agents get read access only. They can't create, update, or delete records, convert leads, or send email from Zoho CRM. Read the docs for more information.

Reddit Ads

Reddit Ads has always been one of our most demanded connectors. It started with a community built batch sync connector. To show our appreciation, we added new agentic capabilities to the connector that we think you’ll really enjoy.

Reddit Ads now gives agents nine read operations across five entities:

Businesses: the advertising accounts you have access to
Ad accounts: account details, currency, time zone, and approval status
Campaigns: objective, status, budgets, and spend caps
Ad groups: targeting, bid strategy, schedule, and delivery status
Ads: creative details, click URLs, post links, and approval state

Authentication is OAuth 2.0 with automatic token refresh, and the connector resolves the full hierarchy from businesses down to individual ads. Reddit Ads now sits alongside Facebook Marketing, Amazon Ads, and LinkedIn Ads among the ad platforms agents can read through Airbyte.

Campaigns and ads are indexed in the Context Store with fields like objective, configured_status, effective_status, rejection_reason, and modified_at, so an agent can answer "which campaigns are paused, and what are their objectives?" or "which ads were rejected, and why?" with a single search.

Performance data stays on the batch side. The agent capabilities cover account structure, not impressions, clicks, spend, or CTR. For those, the batch sync's campaign_report stream lands one row per campaign per day in your warehouse, with delivery and conversion metrics. You can analyze spend in your reporting layer, and give agents the live state of your campaigns and ads.

As an important guardrail, agents get read access only. They can't create campaigns, change ad group targeting, delete ads, or upload creative. Check out the docs for more information.

New Connector: App Store Connect

App Store Connect syncs app metadata, customer reviews, Sales and Trends reports, finance reports, and App Store Analytics reports covering installs, deletions, and downloads. This connector is currently batch sync only.

Apple's retention windows are the best reason to start syncing now. Sales and Trends reports are only available for a rolling 365 days, and finance reports for roughly the most recent 11 months. Once those reports land in your warehouse, the history stays after Apple's window moves on.

Setup takes a team API key, since individual keys can't read Sales and Trends or finance reports, along with the key's issuer ID, key ID, .p8 private key, and your vendor number. Analytics streams need an existing analytics report request for each app, and ongoing requests don't backfill data from before they were created, so create them early.

Real-time fetch and Context Store indexing for Zoho CRM and Reddit Ads are live now. Use them through the Airbyte web app or the Airbyte MCP.

Large accounts take longer to index the first time, so check that the connector's Context Store status reads Ready before you rely on search results.

Today both connectors support real-time reads only, not writes. If you need write access on either, tell us which objects.
