This matters more as companies race to integrate AI. You're choosing tools that will handle your most valuable asset: internal first-party data. Closed systems force blind trust. Open source lets you inspect, modify, and validate everything.

AI is too big for one company to own. We don't know what the final version of this technology will be, and we can't trust a single entity to make those decisions for everyone else.
