The Airbyte community, and open source, is at the heart of everything we do. We firmly believe that this is the only way to solve the long tail of connectivity. A big part of this is the philosophy of enabling everyone to create connectors and improve in the practice of data movement. One way you can do this is to share your knowledge via the Community Writer Program. And, for every piece we publish you will earn reward points that you can exchange for swag, and up to $500 based on views! That’s a lotta extra cash for ☕.

‍

Whether you want to use your writing skills to grow your side hustle, or improve your personal brand, we can help you grow your audience by promoting it through our channels (60,000+ newsletter subscribers, 20,000+ slack community, and 20,000+ social media followers). Articles should be relevant to topics covering Data engineering, AI, and related disciplines. As much as we love AI, AI generated articles won't be accepted. We want to hear directly from our community and your unique experience and insights.

We are currently on the lookout for technical content such as how-tos, tutorials, and best practices around Airbyte, data movement practices, connectivity, LLMs, RAG, data lakes, and tooling that might be relevant for data professionals. We love code, collab notebooks, gists, and GitHub repos. To get an idea of the type of content we love, check out our recent tutorials.

‍

If you know what you want to write about, go ahead and submit a draft to get in the review pipeline. If you need a bit more direction, drop a message in the #good-reads-and-discussion Slack channel with the keyword #contentIdea; a huge benefit of joining the program is that you get access to our team of crack writers who can help flesh out your idea and improve your writing skills setting you up for a post that reaches a large audience.

‍

We look forward to seeing what you submit.
