Sync Copper data anywhere.

Copper is usually found in nature in association with sulfur which is a chemical element with the symbol Cu (from Latin word cuprum) and which atomic number is 29. Copper is basically a soft, flexible, and ductile metal. Copper is an essential element in our day to day life. An adult human requires around 1.2 milligrams of copper a day, to help enzymes transfer energy in cells. Copper is a transition metal found in a variety of supplements and vitamins, including intravenous solutions for total par enteral nutrition.

ETL, an acronym for Extract, Transform, Load, is a vital data integration process. It involves extracting data from diverse sources, transforming it into a usable format, and loading it into a database, data warehouse or data lake. This process enables meaningful data analysis, enhancing business intelligence.

1. Contact information: Copper's API allows you to extract contact information such as name, email address, phone number, and company name.
2. Sales activities: You can extract data on sales activities such as deals, leads, and opportunities. This includes information on the status of each activity, the amount of revenue associated with it, and the expected close date.
3. Communication history: Copper's API allows you to extract data on communication history, including emails, calls, and meetings. This includes information on the date and time of each communication, the participants, and the content of the communication.
4. Tasks and reminders: You can extract data on tasks and reminders associated with each contact or sales activity. This includes information on the due date, priority level, and status of each task.
5. Custom fields: Copper's API allows you to extract data from custom fields that you have created in the platform. This can include any type of data that you want to track, such as product preferences or customer feedback.
6. Reports and analytics: You can extract data on sales performance and other metrics using Copper's reporting and analytics features. This includes information on revenue, pipeline, and conversion rates, as well as other key performance indicators.

The most prominent ETL tools to transfer data to include: Airbyte, Fivetran, StitchData, Matillion, Talend Data Integration. These tools help in extracting data from various sources (APIs, databases, and more), transforming it efficiently, and loading it into and other databases, data warehouses and data lakes, enhancing data management capabilities.

ELT, standing for Extract, Load, Transform, is a modern take on the traditional ETL data integration process. In ELT, data is first extracted from various sources, loaded directly into a data warehouse, and then transformed. This approach enhances data processing speed, analytical flexibility and autonomy.

ETL and ELT are critical data integration strategies with key differences. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) transforms data before loading, ideal for structured data. In contrast, ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) loads data before transformation, perfect for processing large, diverse data sets in modern data warehouses. ELT is becoming the new standard as it offers a lot more flexibility and autonomy to data analysts.
