How to load data from Adjust to Weaviate

Learn how to use Airbyte to synchronize your Adjust data into Weaviate within minutes.

Building your pipeline or Using Airbyte

Airbyte is the only open source solution empowering data teams  to meet all their growing custom business demands in the new AI era.

Building in-house pipelines

Bespoke pipelines are:
  • Inconsistent and inaccurate data
  • Laborious and expensive
  • Brittle and inflexible
Furthermore, you will need to build and maintain Y x Z pipelines with Y sources and Z destinations to cover all your needs.

After Airbyte

Airbyte connections are:
  • Reliable and accurate
  • Extensible and scalable for all your needs
  • Deployed and governed your way
All your pipelines in minutes, however custom they are, thanks to Airbyte’s connector marketplace and AI Connector Builder.

Start syncing with Airbyte in 3 easy steps within 10 minutes

Set up a Adjust connector in Airbyte

Connect to or one of 400+ pre-built or 10,000+ custom connectors through simple account authentication.

Set up Weaviate for your extracted Adjust data

Select where you want to import data from your source to. You can also choose other cloud data warehouses, databases, data lakes, vector databases, or any other supported Airbyte destinations.

Configure the Adjust to Weaviate in Airbyte

This includes selecting the data you want to extract - streams and columns -, the sync frequency, where in the destination you want that data to be loaded.

How to Sync to Manually

Step 1: Understand Data Structures

Begin by understanding the data structures of both Adjust and Weaviate. Adjust provides data in a structured format (e.g., CSV, JSON) that includes metrics and user attributes. Weaviate is a vector database that organizes data into objects and classes with properties. Familiarize yourself with these formats to plan the data transformation.

Step 2: Extract Data from Adjust

Use Adjust's API to extract data. Adjust offers a RESTful API to pull data. Write a script (using Python, for instance) to make GET requests to Adjust’s API endpoints to fetch the necessary data. Authenticate using your API key and ensure you have permissions to access the data you need.

Step 3: Transform Data to Weaviate Format

Transform the extracted data into the format required by Weaviate. This involves converting your Adjust data into objects with properties that fit into your Weaviate schema. Use a programming language like Python to process the data, ensuring that each data point corresponds to an object and its properties in Weaviate.

Step 4: Set Up Weaviate Schema

Define your Weaviate schema before importing data. Use Weaviate's schema feature to define classes and properties that align with your transformed data. This involves specifying data types and vectors. Ensure that your schema accommodates all the attributes from Adjust that you wish to store.

Step 5: Load Transformed Data into Weaviate

Write a script to load the transformed data into Weaviate via its API. Use POST requests to send the data objects to Weaviate’s data import endpoint. Ensure that each object adheres to the schema you defined, and handle any errors that arise during this process.

Step 6: Validate Data Integrity

After the data import, validate the data integrity in Weaviate. Check that all objects are correctly stored and indexed. Use Weaviate’s API to query data and verify that it matches the original data from Adjust. This step ensures that no data was lost or corrupted during the transfer.

Step 7: Automate the Process

If regular data updates are needed, automate the extraction, transformation, and loading process. Use cron jobs or other scheduling tools to run your scripts at regular intervals, ensuring that your Weaviate database is consistently updated with the latest data from Adjust without manual intervention.

By following these steps, you can successfully move data from Adjust to Weaviate without relying on third-party connectors or integrations.
