What is the Airbyte Amplitude connector?
The Airbyte Amplitude connector extracts data from Amplitude and loads it into 50+ destinations such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks or Postgres, with full refresh and incremental sync. It publishes 6 streams you can select per connection.

Setup
Live in eight steps
First, navigate to the Amplitude source connector page on Airbyte.com.
Click on the "Create a new connection" button.
Enter a name for your connection and click "Next".
Enter your Amplitude API Key and Secret Key in the appropriate fields.
Click "Test connection" to ensure that the credentials are correct and the connection is successful.
Once the connection is successful, select the data you want to replicate from Amplitude.
Choose the replication frequency and the destination where you want to send the data.
Click "Create connection" to save your settings and start replicating data from Amplitude to your chosen destination.

| request_time_range | integer | The time range in hours that each Events export request covers. Windows that Amplitude rejects as too large or that time out (see Considerations) are split automatically, down to one hour for values up to 1024. |

Amplitude connector questions
Do I need more than one Amplitude connection?
No. One Amplitude authorization powers both the scheduled syncs that land data in your destination and the entity actions your agents call at runtime.
Do Amplitude entity actions need a sync to run first?
No. Entity actions read and write through the Amplitude API as they are called, so they work immediately. Context store search is the exception: it queries data Airbyte has already synced, which is what lets it filter and sort without spending API rate limits.
