Hey everyone, welcome to the August edition of the Drip where we take you downstream to cover highlights of our change-log, community and anything Airbyte related.
Since we have thousands of companies using the product already, both on-prem and via Airbyte Cloud, being in alpha no longer made sense to the team so we have removed the -alpha tag. This is a very exciting change for us as it shows the progress the company has made and the direction we are currently moving towards. Thank you to all that have also contributed and helped us get to this point 🥳
As SQLite is a pretty popular database that our users want to send data to, we are happy to announce that it has been finally added as a destination!
We’re very excited to see this destination grow and if you want to contribute to help grow this, check out our docs on how to contribute to Airbyte!
What does this mean?
This is a big move for us as Postgres is one of our most popular connectors in the catalog. We want to provide a stable and smooth experience through all of our connectors and although that will take some work, this is a great step forward to achieving that goal!
A reminder that our team is happy to create an unlimited 30-day free POC so that you can fully test out the Postgres connector! If you have any questions, please join our Slack and ask away.
This month, we’re bringing in the heat with more sources hitting beta, a couple new sources coming in alpha and as mentioned before, Postgres hitting beta.
This list of connectors hitting beta is exciting since this shows the experience and functionality of our connectors for big APIs like Slack and Twilio continue to improve. The journey of getting more connectors to GA continues and we’re happy to have you all come along for the ride!
The team also reached new milestones (100 strong! New YouTube milestones! New Lakehouse guides and Dagster Day recaps on our blog!) and we are excited to be supporting and presenting at big upcoming industry events:
And that’s all we have for August’s edition of The Drip. Thanks for reading through. If you have any questions:
