Log into your Mailjet account using your credentials. Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access the emails and data you intend to export.
Navigate to the 'Emails' section or the specific area where your emails are stored. You may find this under the 'Campaigns' or 'Statistics' tab, depending on the Mailjet interface updates.
Within the Mailjet interface, look for an option to export or download the data. This is typically available in CSV or Excel format. If the option is not directly available, check if Mailjet provides an option to view the email statistics in a tabular format, which you can copy.
If an export option is not available, manually copy the data from the Mailjet interface. Select the text or table containing the email data, right-click, and choose 'Copy'. Ensure you capture all necessary fields, such as recipient addresses, email content, and any other relevant statistics.
Open a spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets on your local computer. Create a new spreadsheet and paste the copied data into it. Use the 'Paste Special' option if necessary to maintain formatting.
Organize the data into appropriate columns and rows. Ensure that each column has a header that describes the data it contains, such as 'Recipient', 'Date Sent', 'Subject', and 'Status'. Clean up any excess formatting or merge cells that are not needed.
Once your data is organized, save the spreadsheet as a CSV file. In Excel, you can do this by clicking 'File' > 'Save As', and selecting 'CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)' from the dropdown menu. In Google Sheets, click 'File' > 'Download' > 'Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet)'. Ensure the file is saved in a location where you can easily access it later.
By following these steps, you can effectively transfer email data from Mailjet to a local CSV file without relying on third-party tools.
FAQs
What is ETL?
ETL, an acronym for Extract, Transform, Load, is a vital data integration process. It involves extracting data from diverse sources, transforming it into a usable format, and loading it into a database, data warehouse or data lake. This process enables meaningful data analysis, enhancing business intelligence.

What is ELT?
ELT, standing for Extract, Load, Transform, is a modern take on the traditional ETL data integration process. In ELT, data is first extracted from various sources, loaded directly into a data warehouse, and then transformed. This approach enhances data processing speed, analytical flexibility and autonomy.
Difference between ETL and ELT?
ETL and ELT are critical data integration strategies with key differences. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) transforms data before loading, ideal for structured data. In contrast, ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) loads data before transformation, perfect for processing large, diverse data sets in modern data warehouses. ELT is becoming the new standard as it offers a lot more flexibility and autonomy to data analysts.
