Begin by logging into your PersistIQ account. Navigate to the specific campaign or list you want to export. Look for an option to export your data, typically found under a settings or options menu for your campaign. Export the data in a CSV format, which is commonly used and easily supported by Google Sheets.
Once you initiate the export, PersistIQ will generate a CSV file of your data. Download this file to your computer. Make sure to remember the location where the file is saved for easy access in the next steps.
Open Google Sheets in your browser by going to sheets.google.com. Create a new spreadsheet by clicking on the “Blank” option. This will provide a fresh sheet ready to accept your data.
In your new Google Sheets document, click on "File" in the top menu, then choose "Import." A dialog box will appear. Click on "Upload" and then "Select a file from your device." Navigate to the location where you saved the CSV file from PersistIQ and select it for upload.
Once the file is uploaded, Google Sheets will prompt you with import options. Choose "Replace current sheet" to ensure the CSV data fills the new sheet you created. Make sure the separator type is set to "Comma" as CSV stands for Comma Separated Values. Click “Import Data” to proceed.
After the import completes, carefully review the data in Google Sheets. Check for any discrepancies or formatting issues that might have occurred during the transfer. Ensure all columns and rows are correctly aligned and that no data is missing.
Once you have verified the data, give your Google Sheet a descriptive name by clicking on "Untitled spreadsheet" at the top and entering a new name. If you need to share the sheet with collaborators, click on the "Share" button, enter the email addresses of the recipients, and set appropriate permissions.
By following these steps, you can effectively transfer your data from PersistIQ to Google Sheets manually, ensuring that your information is accurately moved and easily accessible for further analysis or sharing.

In ELT, data is first extracted from various sources, loaded directly into a data warehouse, and then transformed. This approach enhances data processing speed, analytical flexibility and autonomy.
Difference between ETL and ELT?
ETL and ELT are critical data integration strategies with key differences. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) transforms data before loading, ideal for structured data. In contrast, ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) loads data before transformation, perfect for processing large, diverse data sets in modern data warehouses. ELT is becoming the new standard as it offers a lot more flexibility and autonomy to data analysts.
