What our users say

Raman Singh
Predictable, straightforward pricing model that simplified budgeting and significantly reduced overall spend

Chase Zieman

“Airbyte helped us accelerate our progress by years, compared to our competitors. We don’t need to worry about connectors and focus on creating value for our users instead of building infrastructure. That’s priceless. The time and energy saved allows us to disrupt and grow faster.”

Rupak Patel
"With Airbyte, we could just push a few buttons, allow API access, and bring all the data into Google BigQuery. By blending all the different marketing data sources, we can gain valuable insights."
How to Sync to Manually
Step 1: Understand Yotpo's API
Begin by thoroughly reviewing the Yotpo API documentation. Identify the endpoints that provide access to the data you need. Note the authentication requirements, rate limits, and data formats (e.g., JSON) provided by the API.
Step 2: Set Up a Secure API Client
Develop a secure client application using a programming language like Python, Java, or Node.js. This client will be responsible for making authenticated requests to the Yotpo API. Ensure it can handle OAuth 2.0 or any other authentication mechanisms required by Yotpo.
Step 3: Fetch Data from Yotpo
Implement logic in your client application to periodically request data from Yotpo. Depending on your needs, this may involve fetching reviews, customer feedback, or other data types. Use pagination and handle HTTP responses, including errors and retries, to ensure reliable data extraction.
Step 4: Transform Data for Kafka
Once data is fetched, transform it into a format suitable for Kafka. This typically means ensuring the data is serialized correctly, often into JSON or Avro format. Include necessary metadata such as timestamps and identifiers to maintain data integrity and traceability.
Step 5: Set Up Kafka Infrastructure
Prepare your Kafka environment by configuring Kafka brokers and creating the appropriate topics where the data will be sent. Ensure that your Kafka cluster is properly secured and optimized for performance, with appropriate partitioning and replication settings.
Step 6: Produce Messages to Kafka
Using a Kafka client library compatible with your development language, integrate the data transformation logic to produce messages to the Kafka topics. Ensure each message is published reliably, handling any potential failures or retries as needed.
Step 7: Monitor and Optimize the Pipeline
Continuously monitor the data pipeline for performance and reliability. Use Kafka's built-in tools, such as metrics and logs, to track the flow of data. Optimize your application and Kafka configurations to handle load variations and minimize latency.
By following these steps, you can establish a direct data pipeline from Yotpo to Kafka without relying on third-party connectors or integrations.
