Learn how to use Airbyte to synchronize your ZohoCRM data into Firebolt within minutes.

Building your pipeline or Using Airbyte

Airbyte is the only open source solution empowering data teams  to meet all their growing custom business demands in the new AI era.

Building in-house pipelines

Bespoke pipelines are:
  • Inconsistent and inaccurate data
  • Laborious and expensive
  • Brittle and inflexible
Furthermore, you will need to build and maintain Y x Z pipelines with Y sources and Z destinations to cover all your needs.

After Airbyte

Airbyte connections are:
  • Reliable and accurate
  • Extensible and scalable for all your needs
  • Deployed and governed your way
All your pipelines in minutes, however custom they are, thanks to Airbyte’s connector marketplace and AI Connector Builder.

How to Sync to Manually

Step 1: Export Data from Zoho CRM

Begin by logging into your Zoho CRM account. Navigate to the data module you want to export (e.g., Contacts, Leads). Use the "Export" feature available in the CRM, typically found under settings or data administration tools. Choose the desired format, such as CSV or Excel, and download the file to your local system.

Step 2: Prepare Your Data for Transfer

Open the exported file and ensure that the data is clean and well-formatted. Check for any inconsistencies, duplicates, or erroneous entries. Standardize headers, if necessary, to ensure they meet Firebolt’s import requirements. Save the cleaned file in a CSV format for compatibility.

Step 3: Set Up Firebolt Environment

If you haven't already, create a Firebolt account and set up your environment. Make sure you have access to the Firebolt console and are familiar with basic SQL operations that will be necessary for managing your data once it is imported.

Step 4: Create a Schema in Firebolt

Use the Firebolt console to create a schema that matches the structure of your Zoho CRM data. Log into your Firebolt account, navigate to the SQL editor, and execute SQL commands to define tables with appropriate data types that align with the columns in your CSV files.

Step 5: Upload Data to Firebolt

Use Firebolt’s data ingestion capabilities to upload your CSV file. This can be done by first uploading your file to a cloud storage service like AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage, and then using Firebolt’s COPY command to load the data into your Firebolt tables. Ensure that your cloud storage is properly configured and accessible from your Firebolt account.

Step 6: Verify Data Integrity

Once the data is uploaded, run SQL queries in the Firebolt console to verify the integrity and accuracy of the imported data. Check that all records have been imported correctly and that there are no missing or malformed entries. This step is crucial to ensure your data is ready for analytics or further processing.

Step 7: Optimize and Index the Data

After verifying the data, optimize the performance of your Firebolt database by creating indexes. Use Firebolt's indexing capabilities to create primary and secondary indexes on columns you anticipate using frequently in queries. This will enhance query performance and reduce response times when accessing your data.

By following these steps, you can manually transfer data from Zoho CRM to Firebolt, ensuring accuracy and efficiency without relying on third-party tools.
