Hey everyone, welcome to the September edition of the Drip where we take you downstream to cover highlights of our change-log, community and anything Airbyte related.

September was BUSY

We released the most number of GA connectors and new sources we have ever released in a single month!

What does GA mean you ask?

We’ve verified a reliable experience for a (vast) majority of our customers using the connector
Validated the UX and docs continue to be high quality and accessible
Solved any outstanding bugs surfaced during the beta period
Are now ready for prime time on this connector!!

This goes without saying that our team has been hard at work but this also includes you, the community members! We are forever grateful for the work that y’all put in to help create and maintain these connectors.

Hacktoberfest 🎃

Hacktoberfest is among us! We’ve launched our new Low-code CDK and would love for you, the community, to contribute! On top of having you contribute to building out some new connectors, we also want to reward you for doing so! Some amazing rewards we’re giving out are:

$500 for every connector you build using our Python CDK
$700 for every connector you build using our Low-code CDK
$100 for every bug you report in our low-code CDK

Content Game on Fleek 🔥

On top of all the connectors, a bunch of content went out for our blog as well as for our Youtube channel. @Simon Späti put out a new guide covering the Rise of the Semantic Layer and so did Part 3 of @Alex Marquardt’s Deep Dive into Airbyte’s Sync Intervals (full refresh, incremental sync, CDC replication)

Speaking Engagements

Our very own @Charles Giardina and @Christophe Duong will be speaking at dbt Coalesce in New Orleans! So if you’re around locally or online, join us and come say hi!

In person events:

Wednesday, October 19th at Spirits at the Speakeasy

Join us at Double Dealer, for a unique subterranean cocktail bar under the Orpheum Theater. There will be lots to do at this one-of-a-kind NOLA experience – vintage private rooms, tarot readings, and a cocktail demo at the VIP Bar.
