“Airbyte helped us accelerate our progress by years, compared to our competitors. We don’t need to worry about connectors and focus on creating value for our users instead of building infrastructure. That’s priceless. The time and energy saved allows us to disrupt and grow faster.”

"With Airbyte, we could just push a few buttons, allow API access, and bring all the data into Google BigQuery. By blending all the different marketing data sources, we can gain valuable insights."
How to Sync to Manually
First, log in to your OneSignal account and navigate to the dashboard. Look for the data export feature which is typically available under the settings or user management section. Export your data in a CSV or JSON format, depending on what is available. This export will serve as the raw data set that you will transfer to Weaviate.
Set up your local development environment to handle the data transformation. Make sure you have Python installed along with necessary libraries such as `pandas` for data manipulation and `requests` for HTTP requests. This will allow you to process and send data to Weaviate efficiently.
Analyze the exported data and map it to a Weaviate schema. You need to create a Weaviate schema that reflects the structure of your OneSignal data. Use a Python script to transform your CSV/JSON data into a format that matches this schema. This might involve renaming fields, converting data types, or restructuring nested data.
Deploy a Weaviate instance either locally using Docker or on a cloud service. Ensure that your instance is running and accessible. You might need to configure authentication credentials to interact with the Weaviate API securely.
Use the Weaviate console or API to create the schema you designed in step 3. This involves defining the classes and properties that your data will map to. You can do this via the Weaviate console or by sending HTTP requests using a tool like `curl` or directly from your Python script.
Develop a Python script to read the transformed data and send it to the Weaviate instance. Use the `requests` library to make POST requests to the Weaviate API endpoints. Ensure you handle pagination and batching if your dataset is large, to avoid overwhelming the server.
After the data transfer, verify that your data is correctly imported into Weaviate. Use the Weaviate console or API to query the data and check for any discrepancies or missing entries. If errors are found, revisit your transformation and import scripts to address any issues.
By following these steps, you can manually transfer data from OneSignal to Weaviate without relying on third-party tools.
