How to Sync to Manually
Step 1: Understand RSS Feed Structure
Before starting, familiarize yourself with the structure of an RSS feed. An RSS feed is typically structured in XML format. It consists of a channel element that contains metadata about the feed and multiple item elements that represent individual entries.
Step 2: Set Up Your Development Environment
Install and set up a suitable programming environment (like Python) that will allow you to read RSS feeds and interact with AWS services. Ensure you have AWS SDK installed (e.g., `Boto3` for Python) to interact with DynamoDB.
Step 3: Fetch and Parse RSS Feed
Write a script to fetch the RSS feed from a given URL. You can use libraries such as `feedparser` in Python to parse the RSS feed XML. Extract the necessary details from each item that you want to store in DynamoDB, such as title, description, link, and publication date.
Step 4: Prepare Data for DynamoDB
