What our users say

Raman Singh
Predictable, straightforward pricing model that simplified budgeting and significantly reduced overall spend

Chase Zieman

“Airbyte helped us accelerate our progress by years, compared to our competitors. We don’t need to worry about connectors and focus on creating value for our users instead of building infrastructure. That’s priceless. The time and energy saved allows us to disrupt and grow faster.”

Rupak Patel
"With Airbyte, we could just push a few buttons, allow API access, and bring all the data into Google BigQuery. By blending all the different marketing data sources, we can gain valuable insights."
How to Sync to Manually
Step 1: Understand Data Structures
Begin by thoroughly understanding the data structures in both Visma e-conomic and DynamoDB. Identify the data types, tables, fields, and any relationships or dependencies in Visma e-conomic that you need to replicate or consider when transferring to DynamoDB. This will help you map the data correctly.
Step 2: Extract Data from Visma e-conomic
Use Visma e-conomic’s API to extract data. You will need to authenticate using OAuth 2.0. Once authenticated, use the API to query and retrieve the data you want to move. This can be done using HTTP GET requests to endpoints that provide access to the desired datasets.
Step 3: Transform Data for DynamoDB Compatibility
Once you have extracted the data, transform it into a format compatible with DynamoDB. DynamoDB is a NoSQL database, so you’ll need to ensure that your data is structured in a way that fits a key-value or document-based model. This may involve flattening nested structures and converting data types as necessary.
Step 4: Set Up AWS SDK for DynamoDB
Install and configure the AWS SDK for your preferred programming language (such as Python, JavaScript, or Java) to interact with DynamoDB. This will involve setting up your AWS credentials and ensuring you have access to the DynamoDB service in your AWS account.
Step 5: Create DynamoDB Tables
Before loading the data, create tables in DynamoDB that will hold your data. Define the primary key schema (partition key and optionally a sort key) and any necessary secondary indexes. Consider the access patterns and data retrieval needs to optimize the table design.
Step 6: Load Data into DynamoDB
Write a script or program to load the transformed data into DynamoDB. Use the `PutItem` or `BatchWriteItem` operations from the AWS SDK to insert data into your DynamoDB tables. Batch operations are preferred for efficiency when dealing with large datasets.
Step 7: Verify Data Integrity
After loading the data, perform checks to ensure data integrity and consistency. This involves querying the DynamoDB tables to verify that all data has been transferred correctly and matches the original data in Visma e-conomic. Implement logging and error handling in your script to handle any discrepancies or issues during the loading process.
By following these steps, you can manually move data from Visma e-conomic to DynamoDB without relying on third-party solutions.
