Chase Zieman

“Airbyte helped us accelerate our progress by years, compared to our competitors. We don’t need to worry about connectors and focus on creating value for our users instead of building infrastructure. That’s priceless. The time and energy saved allows us to disrupt and grow faster.”

Rupak Patel
"With Airbyte, we could just push a few buttons, allow API access, and bring all the data into Google BigQuery. By blending all the different marketing data sources, we can gain valuable insights."
How to Sync to Manually
Step 1: Export Data from Delighted
Begin by logging into your Delighted account. Navigate to the data export section, where you can export your survey responses. Choose the appropriate format, such as CSV or JSON, which can be easily manipulated and imported into TiDB. Download the exported file to your local machine.
Step 2: Inspect and Clean Data
Open the exported file and inspect the data for any inconsistencies or errors. Clean the data by removing duplicates, correcting formatting issues, and ensuring that all necessary fields are present. This step is crucial to prevent errors during the import process into TiDB.
Step 3: Set Up TiDB Environment
If you haven't already, set up a TiDB environment. This involves downloading and installing TiDB on your local machine or setting up a TiDB cluster on a server. Follow TiDB's official installation guide to ensure that your environment is correctly configured and ready for data import.
Step 4: Prepare TiDB Schema
Design and create the appropriate tables in TiDB to accommodate the data from Delighted. This involves defining the schema, including table names, column names, data types, and any necessary constraints. Use TiDB's SQL interface to execute the necessary `CREATE TABLE` statements.
Step 5: Convert Data for TiDB Import
Convert your cleaned Delighted data into a format suitable for bulk import into TiDB. If your data is in CSV format, ensure it matches the schema you prepared in TiDB. You may need to write a script to transform data fields, especially if there are data type mismatches.
Step 6: Import Data into TiDB
Use TiDB's `LOAD DATA` command to import the data into your database. Connect to your TiDB instance using a SQL client and execute the appropriate `LOAD DATA` statement, specifying the file path and table into which you want to import the data. Monitor the process for any errors and verify that the data is correctly imported.
Step 7: Verify Data Integrity
After the import, perform a thorough check to ensure that all data has been transferred accurately. Run queries to verify data counts, check for any discrepancies, and ensure that all fields are populated as expected. Compare the imported data in TiDB with the original data from Delighted to confirm accuracy and completeness.
